My favorite days begin with a Starbucks white chocolate mocha curled up with a page turning novel or a fun audiobook snuggled next to my furbabies, Magic and Princess. I happily live these days laughing alongside my husband and children, who are my inspiration and the great loves of my life. They usually find me brainstorming unique event ideas with clients or blogging about couples’ love stories with a glass of wine in hand and a giddy smile on my face.
The smile I’ve always had as an excited little girl who loved helping my mom plan those fancy cocktail hours, annual holiday dinners, and my birthday parties, of course. I knew at a very young age that the success of an event lied in the beauty of those well-orchestrated details, very much like the behind-the-scenes workings of a play. As the years flew by, I kept planning for friends and family until I founded The Sweetest Thing Events. Now, with over a decade of event planning and wedding planning experience, I am a social butterfly who fawns over anything girly, gorgeous, and pretty in purple.
I’m not your ordinary wedding planner. I am your go to girl and future lifelong friend who will make sure you find the fun and joy in planning this special day. We learn what’s most important to you and we incorporate the nuances of your history together so we can tie in all those personal touches from beginning to end bringing the beauty of your love story to life. With a passion for storytelling, I can’t help but write all the beautiful details of your engagement and wedding stories to share on my blog. A lifelong keepsake for you and your loved ones as well as my own personal collection of great romances I feel lucky to have witnessed.

With a soft spot for chocolate chip cookies, DIY projects, and all things pink, Sheana Bryan is The Wedding Assistant brides gush over. She lives for weddings, adventure, and her handsome five-year old son, Carter.
Her always trendy fashionista sense means she works closely to make sure every veil and every lapel is aisle and camera ready all wedding day long. Working behind the scenes with the couple and their bridal party means everyone can relax and let loose knowing that this detail oriented lady does not miss a beat. Armed with the essential bridal emergency kit, Sheana is ready for anything but works wonders to ensure that she never needs to use it. She helps the bridal party and the bride from the moment they’re getting ready to when they take their wedding pictures, and well after the ceremony.

From foodie to Pinterest vision board expert, Kelli Washington is The Sweetest Thing Events’ Day Of perfectionist on the go! When she’s not crafting fun projects with her nieces and nephews or taking a spiritual walk with her family, she is making sure that every minute of every event is on point.
Kelli assists in setting up and breaking down event details, large and small, to ensure that your wedding day is just as you envisioned it. Nothing short of romantic perfection! Working miracles under pressure, she is Clarissa’s go to girl in keeping the event organized from beginning to end. As our Production Assistant, she confirms vendor arrivals, designs guest favor tablescapes, organizes bridal emergency kits, and keeps our Wedding Planning team connected and on track throughout the event.
With a sweet tooth for cookies, candy, and key lime cheesecake, Kelli’s sugar rush energy and positive vibes keeps couples at ease as they line up for their wedding ceremony excited to say “I Do”.
